Day 6- Summary and weigh in

Day six went great. Started out the morning with a walk and trip to the Farmer's market with Bryn. Came home and went out to walk a few miles with the whole family at the beach boardwalk, so we got a lot of exercise in yesterday! Juicing didn't go to well. I am experimenting trying to find an alternative green juice....some were yuck! Also, we went to the movies! Imagine the movies with no popcorn! Haha. I brought a special treat....a bottle of tangerine juice. Weight lost on day 6 was one pound. I don't quite understand why the weight has shown down so much, but I'm pushing through! Total weight lost is 24 pounds!

  1. My husband and I are wanting to start a fast next week. We are just worried about the cost. We are on a strict grocery budget. Do you have any ideas?

    1. We are on a strict budget too. What we've found is that the fast is abut the same cost as eating food. The tricks that we've found are:
      1. Find out where and when your local Farmer's Market is held.
      2. Depending on where you live, you may be able to visit the farm directly. (very good deals)
      3. Local produce stands! Local is cheaper than grocery stores.
      4. Always ask for discounts because you're buying in bulk. We ordered 50 cucumbers that were normally $.60 each. We got all 50 for $11.00. Same goes for bulk carrots, apples, and pears.
